Mindrum Garden
During 2019, the Garden is open during the summer by appointment. Plant stall and teas are available by arrangement.
Private Tours
Private tours and visits to Mindrum Gardens are very welcome by prior arrangement. We host a number of private gardening groups, clubs and associations throughout the summer and will be delighted to discuss a bespoke visit. We can cater for parties of up to 30 for lunch or larger groups for light refreshments.
Charity Day for 2019
Mindrum Gardens
Sunday 23rd June 2019, 2-5pm
The Garden will be open for the National Garden Scheme (Yellow Book) and Hospice Care NorthNorthumberland who will be running the teas and The Great Northumberland Duck Race on the river. Proceeds of the duck races and teas to HospiceCare North Northumberland. If you would like to sponsor a duck, please contact us or HospiceCare directly.
Entry £5, children free.
Kirky Cottage
Sat 6th July 2019 for the National Garden Scheme and Sunday 7th July 2019 for the British Red Cross. 10.00-5.30 both days and entry is just £3. An abundance of hardy homegrown plants will be on sale along with yummy cream teas.
The Farm
Visits for Schools or other interested groups may be arranged by appointment throughout the year, depending on availability.
Cubs and Scouts
We have great ground for entertaining, adventuring and exploring – we periodically host local cubs, scouts and cadets. If you are interested – get in touch and we can see what we can do.
Reserves and HM Forces
Over the past 30 years, Mindrum has hosted a range of exercises for all arms of HM forces, ranging from Forward Air Controller concentrations, Reconnaissance, Engineering, infantry, survival and Signals exercises. Do get in touch to discuss options and requirements.
